A Castleton self-catering holiday cottage

Grange Brook is a self-catering holiday cottage situated in the centre of the village of Castleton, Hope Valley, in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

Grange Brook sleeps up to five people in three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. There is plenty of space with separate kitchen, dining room and lounge, and outside there is a pretty private garden with a view towards Mam Tor.

The cottage is situated very close to the centre of Castleton, within easy walking distance of both the old village market place and also several of the local attractions, such as Peveril Castle and Peak Cavern.

Castleton has a wide range of pubs, cafes and shops, which cater to visitors' every needs. There are numerous places where you can eat out in the evening or take breakfast, should you not wish to cook your own.

Castleton is centrally placed within the Peak District for easy access to most of the major local attractions and towns, including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the Castleton Caverns, the Derwent Dams, Buxton, Bakewell, and many others.

Castleton is also an excellent centre for walking or cycling, with many walking and cycling routes starting from the door. Other sports, such as climbing, pot-holing and hang-gliding are also catered for locally.

The cottage is privately owned and the owners are local residents. Grange Brook is a no-smoking cottage, and we regret we are unable to accept pets or children aged under 5 years.
